Residential Living

The Arc of Pike County operates a residential services program consisting of three group homes, providing 24 hour supervision in a home like atmosphere. We serve individuals ranging from 18 to 60+. Our group homes have a Developmental Training license. They are governed by the standards set forth by the Indiana State Board of Health. Our homes are funded by Medicaid.

Many services are provided to our residents including community access, adult daily living skills, academic skills, socialization, nutritional training, recreation, health and safety and Special Olympics.

The residents at The Arc of Pike County are very active in the community. They attend church, go to concerts, ballgames, festivals and other community activities. The residents at PCARC feel very comfortable in a small town setting in which they can easily access the community. Our goal is to achieve and maintain maximum independence for each of our residents.

The Arc of Pike County provides an on-call nurse and medical coordinator 24 hours per day. Our homes are staffed with well trained individuals who help to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
